Terms and Conditions – Warranty and Returns
Payment: We accept payment by VISA/MasterCard, Paypal, bank wire transfer, personal check (subject to clearing and approval), money order or cashier’s check in US dollars. We will not be responsible for loss if cash is sent.
Sales Policy: Terms, prices, specifications of products and policies herein are subject to change without prior notice. We are not responsible for any typographical errors occurring in any printed ads, websites or other promotional material.
Missing Parts: Please check all items on your order upon receipt to make sure it is exactly what you ordered. If an item shown on the invoice is missing, please check the carton and all packing material carefully. Small items may get lost and for this reason we usually tape them to a larger part or to one of the inside flaps of the shipping carton. Has the carton been tampered with or damaged in a way that parts could have fallen out? If this is the case, you need to make a claim as described under “Damaged Parts”. Has the item been backordered on the invoice? Could it be you ordered incorrectly or we misunderstood you? Mistakes can and do happen, but be aware that any shortage claims submitted after 3 business days from receipt of goods will not be accepted.
Damaged Merchandise: We take extra care to make sure your parts are packed properly and reach you intact. If you receive a package from us and the box and/or contents show obvious signs of impact damage, you should call the freight carrier and request an inspection. Claims for damage during shipment must be made by you to the delivering carrier within 72 hours (3 days). We cannot initiate the claim for you. Please contact the delivering carrier at once and be sure to save all original packing materials. It is best to open and inspect the contents in front of the carrier. If you experience any problems in dealing with the carrier, please contact us at (626) 445-0108 M-F 9AM to 5PM PST for additional help.
Warranty Policy: We warranty all replacement parts for 6 months against defects of material or workmanship, for normal road use (racing not included) and when properly installed. This warranty period starts on the date of your original purchase. There is no warranty on parts used for racing or off-road use, electrical parts, or parts that have been damaged due to improper installation. Classic & Speed Parts’ sole obligation under our warranty shall be, at our option, to repair, replace or refund the cost of any part returned to Classic & Speed Parts, and which, upon inspection, shall disclose to our satisfaction to have been defective. In no event shall our liability exceed the cost of the goods. Classic & Speed Parts assumes no responsibility or liability for any injury or damages arising from the use of its products, nor for diagnosis, removal or installation labor, loss of vehicle use, loss of time, shipping expenses, inconvenience, or any other consequential damages or expenses.
Return Merchandise Policy: Merchandise cannot be returned without a Return Goods Authorization issued by Classic & Speed Parts. All unauthorized returns will be refused. A 20% restocking charge will be assessed on all returns unless due to our error. Freight must be prepaid on all returns. Returned items must be in original boxes, must be unused and in resale-able condition. There are no returns on special order items, books, tools, videos and electrical items or any merchandise held over 90 days from date of purchase.
